Sharon Ann Lefebvre's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Lefebvre, founder of Head Shoppe in New Hartford, who left us on December 29, 2025. A cherished member of our community, Sharon was a vibrant spirit whose energy and creativity touched the lives of many.
Born with an innate talent for hairstyling, Sharon thrived behind the chair, where her passion for beauty and connection shone brightly. She had a remarkable ability to find treasures at tag sales, thrift stores, and even on the side of the road, often claiming they were “just waiting for her.” Her eye for unique finds reflected her joyful approach to life.
Sharon was not only a skilled stylist but also served as one of Winsted’s first female police officers, breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations. Her commitment to serving her community extended beyond law enforcement; she contributed her talents to the local theatre community, where she did the hair for various productions.
A woman of faith, Sharon loved to praise the Lord and often expressed her joy through dance. Her spontaneous dance moves brought laughter and happiness to those around her. In her younger years, loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed woodworking, showcasing her adventurous spirit and creativity.
Sharon leaves behind her loving husband, James; daughter Jamie and her wife Tina; son Tim and his husband Toby; and grandchildren Emily and Daniel. Her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In honoring Sharon’s memory, let us celebrate her life filled with love, laughter, a slice of pizza, and a freshly poured beer.
