Jim, Jamie and Tim, my family had high regard for Sharon. She had a very generous heart, visiting my Dad when he was in the hospital with cancer, and cutting his hair. Sharon gave our son Rick his first haircut at age 5. And she gave me amazing haircuts for many years, then Jim took over. Sharon was a sweet, loving beautiful person. As a young boy she was like a big sister to me. I always loved going to the Dunn's to see her and going to the driving range. Later in life I enjoyed visiting her and Jim during hunting season with Dad. I remember as a young boy her taking me on a picnic to meet her then boyfriend. We had a great time but I don't believe the boyfriend liked having a six year old chaperone. On another occasion at New Years Eve the parents were having a party. Sharon got me out of bed and hid me under the kitchen table. She hid me with the table cloth and sat in front of the table. Under the table I enjoyed a box full of candy treats that she had brought down for me. Later she slipped me back into bed without anyone's knowledge. As life passed we hadn't seen each other very much but when we did she was always a loving wonderful person. I will miss her but cherish the memories.
Sharon was the best! She had so much loving kindness in her heart. Was always willing to listen without judgement and share her faith in the Lord. I will forever treasure going to their house and enjoying the Lord. Sometimes I would tag along with her on her thrift shop ventures. Their home was like a retreat to me, and her and Jim are forever etched in my heart. I will be praying for Jamie and Tim and their spouses. Also her precious grandkids. And ofcourse her beloved husband Jim, who is equally as kind. This family is just precious to me. I know Sharon is joyous right now as she has gone to be with the Lord.
