Richard Del Robenhorst's Obituary
Richard “Rich” Del Robenhorst, 56, passed away on Sunday December 13, 2020 in Tallahassee Florida.
Rich was born April 29, 1964 in Orlando Florida to Lawrence “Rob” and Annie Mearl Robenhorst. He spent his career in public service for Orange County Public Schools and the State of Florida, most notably for his years as a Park Ranger at Wakulla Springs State Park. His family fondly remembers summers on his boat tours along the Wakulla River. Rich loved the water, especially the ocean. He was most at home on or near the water, especially the beach surfing with his buddies, skateboarding, boating, or biking. Most often, Rich could be found riding around with the top off his Jeep with his Labrador retriever Jasper or Opie by his side, named after the Andy Griffith show.
Rich is survived by his son Luke Robenhorst, step-daughter Colby Lucas, mother Annie Mearl Robenhorst, and Aunt Joyce Harrison.
