Raphael Enrico Siegrist's Obituary
Raphael Enrico Siegrist passed away on Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at the age of 36.
Raphael was born on November 7, 1987 in Princeton, New Jersey. His formative years were spent in Neshanic Station, NJ and Livingston, NJ with a two-year interlude in Malmö, Sweden. He graduated from Livingston High School in 2006. He obtained a BA in Political Science from The College of New Jersey in 2011. He then joined his parents and brother in Tallahassee, Florida where he graduated from Florida State University in 2016, with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
Raphael worked for the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida. He enjoyed marching bands and heavy metal, old-time and folk music. He loved national and international travel. He was an active player in the Tallahassee Kickball Association. Raphael had a big heart for cats and was affectionately known as the “Cat Whisperer”. He was an FSU Seminole Booster and a member of the local Penn State Nittany Lion Club.
Raphael is survived by his loving parents, Mirella and Theo Siegrist and older brother David Siegrist along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins in Switzerland where a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
A celebratory reception will be held in Alfriend Hall, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Tallahassee Florida, 4:00pm, May 21, 2024.
