Nancy Jean Dufoe's Obituary
Nancy J. Dufoe, passed away peacefully at home, December 17, 2024, at the age of 73.
Born and raised in St Petersburg, Nancy fell in love with the unique beauty of Tallahassee upon becoming an FSU student in 1972 and embraced it as home. Given her delightful humor, quick wit, and soulful presence, she formed many lasting friendships that brought a joyful richness to her life.
Nancy was more than just a friend though. She was the life of the party, the spark that ignited joy in every gathering. Her presence was like a burst of fireworks on a dark night, and her sharp wit kept everyone on their toes. With her infectious smile and laughter, she turned ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. Nancy’s passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew her.
Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Jean Dufoe, and her brother, Don. She is survived by her wife of 29 years, Jennie, and their adorable dogs, Bernie and Sunny.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held in the near future, and all who knew her are invited to join in raising a glass to Nanczilla, No Pants Romance, Let’s Dance, Nancy
In lieu of flowers, Nancy wished for donations to be made to the Tallahassee Animal Service Center, 1125 Easterwood Drive.
