Nancy was one of the best bosses, mentors, and friends I’ve been lucky enough to know. She was social chair of the Performance Audit office and worked hard to make promote inclusivity everywhere she went. Nancy was a special, fabulous, and downright hilarious spirit. Pictured here dressed up as mustard to razz Joe Clark for something I can’t even remember but I know it was funny! Thank you for sharing your special light with us.
I'm so sad that Nancy is gone. I envisioned more trips to Tallahassee or maybe somewhere else, more walks, more laughter, more wine. I remember when she and Jennie first came to Olympia; Nancy was so interested in the area and undaunted by the rain. She was a revered leader at Performance Audit, with a kind word or a gentle suggestion for anyone struggling.
Rest in peace, my friend.
I am very sad to hear that my long time friend Nancy has left us . Nancy was a smart, funny, vital woman who was an honest, truth teller. I will miss her. Prayers to her loved ones and friends.

Nancy was so smart, loving, and funny. One of my favorite memories: in trying to describe the Mexican celebration held on May 5th every year, Nancy called it the Quatro de Cinco (which means the Fourth of Fifth), instead of the Cinco de Mayo. When she realized it, Nancy laughed as hard as anyone. Cinco de Mayo will ALWAYS be the Quatro de Cinco for me! Another favorite memory was the joy she and Jennie exuded on their wedding day; we were all in tears!
