Mary "Jeanne" Davis 's Obituary
Mary Jeanne Davis (Jeanne) of Crawfordville died peacefully in her sleep on February 28, 2016. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jim, her sister Betty Jane Evans (Gale) and brother, Allen Drake. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Bud and Betty Drake of Crawfordville. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She retired as the Deputy Director of the Dade County Citizens Safety Council where she served as a member of the University of Miami Crash Reconstruction team.
Upon relocating to Crawfordville, she worked with the forensic firm of Abal and Associates. She also worked in the Abal Auction Real Estate firm as a licensed real estate broker and managed the IT on-line bidding platforms for all auctions of real and personal property.
A private funeral service was held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Big Bend Hospice, Wakulla Team, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, FL. 32308
