Kevalyn Rice's Obituary
Kevalyn Amara Rice, 19, passed away on February 26, 2025. She was a Tallahassee native, and graduate of Rickards High School. Additionally, she completed the welding program at Lively Technical College.
Kevalyn was a beautiful, caring, sweet girl with a great sense of humor and a lot of talent. She was handy and liked to fix things. With her creative side, she dabbled in many things, such as crocheting and drawing. Kevalyn was passionate about anything she set her heart and mind on. Kevalyn was always an avid animal lover who had a special place in her heart for them all. She also loved music and her truck “The Dude”.
She is predeceased by a sister, Olivia Ann Rice; grandmother, Rebecca Adams Goings, and grandfather, William Ray Crosby. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Kevin Rice and Kristen Crosby; her sisters, Lyris Rice, Desiree Arnold, and Jamaye Jeter, along with her nephew, Asher Julaka, grandmother, Barbara Ann Rice, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and her sweet fur buddies; Boe, Mason, and Grace.
A celebration of Kevalyn’s life will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Chaires Community Center, 4768 Chaires Cross Road, Tallahassee, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Tallahassee Animal Services, 1125 Easterwood Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32311.
