John Douglas Fuller's Obituary
John Douglas Fuller, 67, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 13th, 2022. He will always be cherished by his wife of 43 years, Laurinda, his son John Jr, and his daughter Laurin, as well as his siblings, family, and many friends.
John earned his bachelor’s and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Florida and bled orange & blue. He served a remarkable career working for the Florida Sheriffs Association, Florida State Government, and most importantly, as Executive Director of his legacy- the Future of Hunting in Florida (FHF). John was most at peace and closest to God when he was in the woods or on the water, and he made it his purpose to provide others the opportunity to experience and appreciate the great outdoors. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to FHF at www.thefutureofhunting.org.
An informal celebration is planned at Aloft Hotel, 200 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL on Saturday, August 20th from 6pm to 8pm and families are encouraged to stop by to share stories. After all, in all kinds of weather, we all stick together.
