Jimmy was kind, quiet, had a quick wit and great sense of humor. He was a delight to know and always made sure everyone felt included. You knew not to tell Jimmy that you liked something too much or he would quickly offer to give it to you, even if it was his own possession. There were many times that Jimmy would suddenly produce a toy or gadget to entertain someone’s child or share a humorous story to make everyone laugh or talk with someone sitting alone. Wherever Jimmy was, there was always lots of laughter and joy. Jimmy will be missed dearly, but remembered by all that knew him.

I have a bunch - a few of my favorites. Dropping one of my sons off on a road trip who needed a different environment. You may not think of Jimmy as a role model, but the love, caring, and simply treating my son as a man not a boy that Jimmy provided was very kind.

On a personal level, i remember Jimmy raving about chicken wings that we had to try. I remember those chicken wings were good, but the laughter and conversation was even better.
