Jean E. Ludlow 's Obituary
Jean Evelyn Ludlow, 80, passed away on April 27, 2017 in Greenville, SC. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 1/2 years, Bill Ludlow.
A native of Medford, Massachusetts, Jean dropped out of high school after developing Polio. She would later finish High School, Undergrad and Graduate work after starting a family. She graduated from IUPUI in Indianapolis. Education was very important to her and she wanted all of her family to go to college.
She and Bill moved to Tallahassee from Carmel, Indiana 19 years ago where she taught math at Clay Junior High for 25 years. She was a member of Lake Talquin Baptist where she taught the Fellowship Sunday School Class and was a leader of Women on Missions.
Other survivors include four children, Susan McCarnan (Chris) of Greenville, SC; Paul Ludlow of Lapel, IN; Phil Ludlow (Linda) of Pittsboro, IN; and Sharon Ludlow of Kokomo, IN; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-200pm on Tuesday, May 2cd, at Lake Talquin Baptist Church. The Service will begin at 2:00pm and interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bus Ministry c/o Lake Talquin Baptist Church. Tholley Taylor with Lifesong (850.627.1111) is assisting the family with arrangements.
