Mrs Rhonda and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr Darrell was a kind man, we will miss him. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers
My name is Paul John. I was never privileged to meet Darrell’s wife Rhonda and family but wanted to mention this . My cousin Marc Choulat lived down the road from Darrell. Marc and Darrell shared their love of guns as well as other things. I lived in SW Florida and would visit Marc often . When my cousin Marc came down with lung cancer I stayed with him along with his sisters.
Darrell would come by several times a week with meals. I remember 2 huge steaks we enjoyed. More than that Marc had to go to Tallahassee at least once a week for treatment. When we were not there Darrell would drive Marc to Tallahassee for his treatments. I often told Marc how lucky he was to have such a friend. After Marc passed Darrell would drive to Blountstown and meet us for lunch. I always looked forward to that. I wish you all the best.
A limb has fallen from our family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Do not grieve for me." Remember the best times, the laughter, and the songs. Reflect on the good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage; I’m counting on you. Keep smiling, and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, and my soul is at rest. Remember how truly blessed I was. Continue our traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life; don't worry about the falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep your chin up. Until the day comes when we are together again.
A Southern Gentleman, loving ,kind, long time friend you will be truly missed till we meet again in Heaven ❤️
Darrell played a key role in the 1970’s.First as a purchaser then as a supplier to get me started but much more important he has been a good friend. He will be truly missed .
I consider Darrell Stodard one of my two mentors in the cattle hide trading business. I have known Darrell since 1993 and am so grateful for his support in having helped me navigate the challenges in this industry. I owe much of my success to his support of my small cowhide trading business. He was active in the trade until just late last year. He was no quitter and always went to bat for me. I will remember him all the days of my life because he made a difference in both my life and that of my family's. Thank you, Darrell. I will see you on resurrection day. You are a very good man. May God continue to bless your family and amazing wife, Rhonda, and may your legacy of hard work, diligence, with kindness and consideration extend to the younger generations of your family.

Mr. Darrell played a key role in the early years of my life. My twin brother (Roger) and I were 14 year old boys and would help out at the hide house working. After work we would play basketball (which he was very good at) often. Him and My Daddy forged a Steel work ethic in 2 teenage boys that is missing in the world today. I’m so glad to have known him and Mrs Rhonda growing up. Robin Ryals
