Green Burial

Natural Burial Options

Green Burial

The choice of final disposition is as unique and varied as each individual. For those with a passion for the environment, green burial may be desired. This type of interment does not involve embalming or vaults, and any container. From a seagrass casket to a simple organic shroud the covering or receptacle must be able to break down and return to the earth naturally. In green burial, the goal is to truly become one with nature. This reduces the impact that other disposition options may carry, conserves nature, and even encourages the restoration of natural habitats. In short, this option contributes to the earth and promotes life.
