Zachary Alexander Tolchin's Obituary
Zachary passed away on Sunday, March 3rd in a tragic motorcycle accident in Tallahassee, Florida. He was 26 years old. Zach was a wonderful son, brother and friend. He was going to graduate from Florida State University with a Doctorate in Chemistry in May 2024. He was a skilled rider with countless hours of training at Jennings GP Racetrack. He loved poker with friends, watching soccer, playing video games, working on his Chemistry research, exploring nature, and above all riding his Yamaha R6. He had a loving and generous spirit. He lost his life during the best time of his life... doing what he loved most in life. He will be missed terribly. He is survived by his parents, Lara and Josh Tolchin, sister, Sarah Tolchin, grandparents, Susan and Larry Tolchin and Linda and Bob Laughlin; aunts and uncles, Maria and Jeff Tolchin and Julie and Boyd Davis; cousins, Braedyn Davis, Miller Davis, and Lily Tolchin; and his network of dear friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service to mark the rich impact that Zach had on his friends, family, and community will be held at Temple Sinai on Thursday, March 7, at 4:30. The family will receive visitors at Sinai following the conclusion of the service and a shiva minyan will commence at 6:30, also at Sinai.

*Saturday March 9: A second night of shiva will be held at the Tolchin home (80 Old Powers Place, Sandy Springs, GA 30327) on Saturday evening, March 9, with a minyan service taking place at 6:30.
