William Anderson "Andy" Mozley's Obituary
William Anderson Mozley, 58, while surrounded by family, went on to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 7, 2015.
Andy, as he was known by his family and friends, was born September 15, 1957 in Tallahassee, FL to William Anderson Mozley Sr. and Evelyn Vann Mozley. Although not a fan of the big city, Andy has been a resident of the Tallahassee area for over 40 years.
As the previous owner of A and J Masonry, Andy spent over half of his life perfecting his gift as a highly skilled brick mason. Andy’s work can be seen at many homes and businesses throughout the Tallahassee area.
Andy lived in Crawfordville, FL with his fiancé, Debbie Presnell, where they raised horses and enjoyed life together on the farm. Other than spending time with family, some of Andy’s favorite times were relaxing in a pair of boots, wrangler jeans, and a t-shirt while listening to Merle Haggard on the radio. The only thing he loved more than seeing his grandchildren’s smiling faces was the time he was able to spend with his only daughter, Lela.
Andy is survived by his daughter, Lela Whitfield (Clay) of Tallahassee and 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Madison, and Connor; his brother, Jack Mozley (Suzanne) of Tallahassee; his mother, Evelyn Harrell of Tallahassee; his fiancé, Debbie Presnell of Crawfordville; Jodie Campbell (Brent), their children Bradley and Madison; Jarrod Kirkley (Meghan); and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, William Anderson Mozley Sr.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM CST (11:00 EST) at Collins Chapel Cemetery, Collins Chapel Rd., Malone, FL .
