William S. "Billy" Gueltzow's Obituary
William S. “Billy” Gueltzow, 51, of Crawfordville, passed away on February 17, 2015.
Billy was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and spent most of his life in and around Tallahassee. He was a carpenter and iron worker by trade and attended River of Life Church in Crawfordville. He enjoyed anything outdoors including fishing, building and playing horse shoes. He especially loved his grandchildren and helping others.
Survivors include two children, Chelsey Gueltzow-Maneth; and Shane Gueltzow-Maneth (wife Garrett); eight brothers and sisters, Wayne Jr., James, Richard, and Michael Gueltzow, Charles, Carl, and Chester McAfee, and April Gueltzow Johnson; as well as six grandchildren, Logan and Wyatt Leamon; and Kayla, Noah, Madix, and Cameran Maneth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Louise Gueltzow; his stepmother, Esther Gueltzow; and sister, Carol McAfee.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 20th at the River of Life Church in Crawfordville. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. The committal service will follow at Walker Cemetery in Lamont, FL. AmeriCare Funeral & Cremation (www.AmeriCarefc.com or 850/627-1111) is assisting the family with arrangements.
