Wil A. Sellars 's Obituary
Wilbur “Wil” A. Sellars, 68, of Havana, passed away quietly surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, April 13, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sellars.
Born in Thomasville, GA, Wil served in the U.S. Army for 4 years. When he was discharged in 1972 he moved to Tallahassee. He was a licensed pool contractor and owned his own business, Pro Pools, in Tallahassee. In 1985 Wil bought property in Havana that with his incredible vision and hard work became Havana Christmas Tree Farm. He and Linda have brought joy to countless families every Christmas at the farm.
Other survivors include one son, Alan Sellars of Punta Gorda; one step-daughter, Kristi Bortz of Crystal River; one step-son, Wesley Antill of Crystal River; three step-brothers, Byron Barfield of Idaho; and Emory and Ken Barfield of Thomasville; and two grandsons, Colton and Mason Antill. Always by Wil’s side was his beloved dog, Cracker.
The family is so thankful for all the care and assistance from Big Bend Hospice. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to Hospice to help continue their wonderful work.
