My family and I miss her so much. When we were kids, the Lunns were our neighbors. There was a vacant lot between us. Most of the time we would meet on that vacant lot and play. Occasionally we slipped over into each other's yards, but I parents liked us in the middle lot so they could watch us.
The Lunns were very good fiends to our family, and Mr. Lunn was a special friend to my Dad. Mr. Lunn started picking us kids up on Sunday morning to go to Thomasville Road Baptist church, where we became members.
Over the years we lost track of each other, but Laura fond me on Facebook and we reconnected. Laura then became a part of our family again. She, Erin and Destinee loved to come to Mom's and eat chicken and rice and cornbread. Laura and I loved shopping and riding or just sitting on front porch drinking tea and watching birds.
During Hurricane Michael, we were sitting on my front porch watching the storm when all of two trees fell on both our cars and totalled them.
Rest in peace my friend. My sincere condolences to the family.
