Timothy Ryan Seymour's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Timothy Ryan Seymour, who left this world March 16, 2025, in Tallahassee, Fl, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born August 16th, 1984, in Fort Myers, Fl, Ryan was a bright light in all that knew him. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend whose love and kindness knew no bounds.
Ryan had a heart of gold, always showing love and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about.
But, if there was one thing everyone knew about Ryan, it was his incredible sense of humor. He had a natural gift for making people laugh, whether through a quick-witted remark, a perfectly timed joke, or just his infectious, playful spirit. He could turn any moment into something memorable, leaving behind stories that could be told and retold with laughter and love.
Ryan embraced the beauty of life in every way, whether through his passion of gardening, his talent in cooking, his impeccable eye for fashion and interior design, or his deep appreciation for music. His love for dogs was unmatched, he found joy in their companionship, always drawn to their unconditional love. More than anything, he treasured his family and friends, creating memories of laughter, warmth, and connection.
He dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing all the beauty it had to offer.
Ryan faced many struggles in his life, yet he never lost his kindness, resilience, or ability to bring joy around him. He valued genuine connections and surrounded himself with people who truly cared for him.
Most importantly, Ryan accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and confessed this to his family. His faith brought him comfort and strength, and his family finds peace knowing he is now in the presence of his heavenly Father.
Ryan is survived by his loving father, Timothy Phillips Seymour; his mother Cynthia (Smith) Seymour; his sister, Sally; brother, Kevin; niece, Kameron, and nephew, Albert who will forever hold his memory close.
Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the love he gave so freely, the laughter he sparked and the joy he brought into the world will never fade.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at East Hill Baptist Church (Old Chapel), 912 Miccosukee Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32308. The viewing and visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow the service at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s research Hospital, a cause Ryan deeply believed in. Supporting this mission in his honor ensures his kindness continues to make a difference.
Ryan is deeply loved and will be deeply missed. His laughter, spirit, and dreams will live on in all of us.
