Starlyn Braswell's Obituary
Starlyn Elaine Braswell passed away on Friday, March 27 leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Born in Gulfport, Mississippi, Starlyn and her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack Braswell, built their home and family in Quincy, Florida.
Starlyn served as the secretary for Judge Richard Hood for over 25 years and was a familiar face at the Gasden County Courthouse.
Jack preceded her in death in 2023, and while their time apart was brief, their connection remains everlasting. She is survived by her son, Mark Braswell, her grandchildren, Joshua, Logan, and Savannah Braswell, and her great grandson, Henry Braswell.
Starlyn will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the quiet strength she carried through every season of life. She will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Starlyn’s life and the love they have for her on Thursday, April 2nd, at the Golf Club of Quincy.
