Sherry Greer Hay's Obituary
Sherry Greer Hay, 76, passed away December 20, 2025, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1949, to John and Doris Bramlett Greer in Crestview, Florida.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Hay was predeceased by her husband, Tommy Hay and a sister, Barbara Stern. She is survived by her brother, John Greer; sister-in-law, Helen Greer; nieces Michele Bloodworth (Jim) and Lisa Mannasmith (Brian); nephews, Tony (Danielle) and Scott Greer; cousins, Judy Alley and Henry Clark.
In the early 70s, she moved to Tallahassee and worked as an administrative assistant at Florida State University for several years.
Sherry was a lady with a great sense of humor and famous for her “one liners”. She enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, including making beautiful cards for family and friends. Perhaps her greatest love was her love and care for many cats, including ferals.
A graveside service to honor Ms. Hay’s life will be Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11 A.M. at Tallahassee Memory Gardens, 4037 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida.
