Shane O. Rudd's Obituary
Shane Owen Rudd, age 45, died May 15, 2016 at his home in Chattahoochee, Florida.
Shane was born January 15, 1971, in Tallahassee, but spent most of his life in Gadsden County. He graduated from Chattahoochee High School in 1989. He completed EMT Training and Law Enforcement Training. He worked in communications and as a patrol officer with four agencies; the Florida State University Police, Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office, Chattahoochee Police Department and Sneads Police Department.
Shane is survived by his mother Shirley A. Rudd, of Chattahoochee, FL, his father James. O Rudd of Chattahoochee, FL, one nephew Robert Lamar Leynes, III, of Tallahassee, FL, one niece Courtney Blair Leynes of Crawfordville, FL and many loyal, loving friends and family members.
In addition to his grandparents and aunts and uncles, he was preceded in death by his sister Dianne Faith Rudd Leynes.
Family will receive friends at 1:00pm EDT on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Grace Community Baptist Church, 2059 Booster Club Rd. (1.8 miles north of Chattahoochee, FL) Bainbridge, Georgia. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm EDT, also at Grace Community Baptist Church,. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Wetumpka (south of Quincy off State Rd 267).
