Samuel Roy Woody Sr's Obituary
Samuel R. Woody, Sr., passed away on September 24, 2017 in Tallahassee.
Samuel was born in Alabama City, AL and spent most of his life in Alabama and Indiana. He served in the United States Army and moved from Orlando to Tallahassee 15 years ago. He was a member of Authentic Life Church in Crawfordville.
Survivors include four children, Judy Kalas (Richard) of Tallahassee; Bill Woody (Mercedes) of Michigan; Kim Rooney (Jayman) of Ohio; and Sam Woody (Leja) of Louisiana; two sisters, Betty Joyce Ward (Jim) of California; and Gwendolyn Kaye Roy of Brooksville, FL; 5 grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Pedro.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for a later date. Lifesong is assisting the family with arrangements.
