Rovana Fultineer Faris' Obituary
Rovana Fultineer Faris, 65, of Quincy, passed away on May 23, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Fultineer; one brother, David Robinson; and her grandmother, Agnes Rudd.
Rovana was born in Quincy and moved back to Quincy from Ohio in 1990. Family was her life and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was also very devoted to her mother and enjoyed eating supper with her. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Jo Gilbert of Quincy; three children, Bobby Fultineer (Sabrina); Rodney Fultineer (Amanda); and Rachelle Hopper (Clint) all of Quincy; two brothers, Tim Robinson of Quincy and Dewayne Robinson (Laurene) of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Alix Abbott of Hosford; Austin, Dylan, Preston and Taylor Fultineer all of Quincy; David and Cheyenne Porter of Quincy; and Trinton Hopper of Quincy; and six great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Lifesong chapel in Quincy. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 27, also at the Lifesong chapel. The interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy. Tholley Taylor is assisting the family with arrangements.
