I am so blessed that I got the opportunity to reconnect with my Aunt Rosa over the last couple of years! She was so full of positivity, love, and encouragement. I looked forward to our monthly long conversations! We laughed, discussed life, and connected so easily as if we were never apart! I have learned so much from her. She was a remarkable woman! She will be missed beyond reproach! My heart goes out to David and John, her grandchildren, and the rest of her loved ones.
Heaven has gained the best of the best angels and she will now be reunited with others loved ones that passed on.

Rosa and I met 18 years ago, when both of us had recently moved to Fayetteville NC. We both went to work in the same surgeons office, and we quickly became friends. We had many occasions where we went out to lunch or to dinner. And we could easily spend a whole afternoon in the craft store. She was far more talented at it than I was. But I tried to learn from her. But I learned a lot more from my dear friend Rosa. We had many things in common. We both were single mothers of three sons. Unfortunately, I know she lost her oldest son many years ago. We both had sons that were in the army and were medics. We just had such a wonderful close friendship. We often didn’t even live in the same state, but somehow we kept up with each other’s lives. Rosa was one of the kindest, most wonderful women I’ve ever met. I will treasure her friendship forever. And I miss her so much already.

Rosa was my daughters mother-in-law & we shared many memories together. Many special occasions that we shared were full of stories & laughter. She was Daphne's Wela & we all enjoyed Daphne's recital in April followed by dinner together. When I visited her a few weeks ago in the hospital, I was sure her fighting spirit would get her through this sudden illness. Things will not be the same without Wela. Too soon to say goodbye. My heart goes out to John, Dana, my Daphne, Dave, Heather, Gwen, Max, Barrett, & Athena. RIP Rosa, our Wela.
Aunt Rosa was always sweet and gentle with me. We had the spirit. We talked about crafting blanket and what's the best sewing machine. We had the same preference. Because her she inspired me to make an art room. We talked and read the Bible together. It's amazing how three years went so fast. I was blessed to have spent them with her. She was my aunt Rosa and I was her Rosita. Love you dearly until we meet again. But for now I will miss you.
My dear friend and I worked together in Tallahassee. Rosa was the best coworker I've ever had, a team player, a beautiful lady.

I sat behind her, across the room and one day, just for fun, I stood up and said, "WE KNOW!" LOL. Rosa broke out laughing with me!!!
She was so much fun.
We just celebrated her 67th birthday in May.
I took her to lunch, in Thomasville at The Plaza,we went shopping and I gave her a bday gift of a wrought iron gold Feather for her new Apt.
I am missing her already, we talked on the phone often. Rosa is at peace and will definitely be missed.
I know she has a crown of jewels, for all the good she did in this world.
