Robert D. Pitts' Obituary
Robert “Bobby” D. Pitts, 55, passed away October 7, 2024, at the Margaret Dozier House in
Tallahassee, Florida.
Bobby was born in Griffin, Georgia September 26, 1969, to Don and Jackie Thompson Pitts. He
was a painter with Prestige Painting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Ariel Coatney and Chance Pitts.
Bobby was loyal to his family and many friends. He was kind to all and a fun-loving person, always
making people laugh and in his daughter’s words, “a goof ball.”
A service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 A.M. at Capital
Heights Baptist Church, 7150 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida.
