Robert Winston Goodson's Obituary
Robert Winston Goodson, 97, of Quincy, passed away on April 27th, 2016.
Robert was born in Greensboro, FL and grew up in Gadsden County. He attended Mount Pleasant High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Robert loved his family, golfing, fishing and animal friends.
Survivors include four children, Robert W. Goodson, Jr. (Nancy) of Tallahassee; Johnny Mack Goodson (Jane) of Quincy; Peggy Manchac of Quincy; and Michael J. Goodson (Pat) of NC; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, William “Billy” C. Goodson in 1997.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Wildlife Association. Lifesong (www.lifesongfunerals.com or 850.627.1111) is assisting the family with arrangements.
