Rita Cecelia Grunewald's Obituary
Crawfordville, FL –Rita Cecelia Grunewald passed away peacefully January 2, 2025 at Eden Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crawfordville, FL. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Eden Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 4679 Crawfordville Highway, Crawfordville, FL 32327.
Rita was born September 9, 1950 in Tallahassee, FL to Ralph H. and Georgia Q. Grunewald. She was a lifelong Methodist beginning as a child in Tallahassee, FL at Trinity United Methodist Church and later becoming a member at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Calvary United Methodist Church. After relocating to Girard, GA in 1976 with her family, she was a member of Girard United Methodist Church.
Rita is survived by her brother, Cameron (Donna) of Waynesboro, GA, her brother, Eddie (Kathy) of Oyster Bay, Wakulla County, FL, her brother Paul (Nancy) of Tallahassee, FL and her brother, Andre’ of Bradenton, FL along with many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and other close family and dear friends.
Her parents, Ralph and Georgia Grunewald and her sister Sharon Rozar preceded Rita in death.
