Richard Thomas "Tommy" Crady's Obituary
Richard Thomas “Tommy” Crady, 67, of Tallahassee, passed away on May 4, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Pamela Crady.
A native of Louisville, KY, Tommy grew up in St. Petersburg, FL and graduated from Dixie Holland H.S. He attended FSU and was a U.S. Navy Veteran during Vietnam. He was an Underground Utilities Engineer for the City of Tallahassee and work was his life.
Tommy was a passionate soccer player and goal keeper. He was a former board member for the old Chaires Soccer Club and helped coach youth soccer with TUSC and was involved in developing many talented goal keepers.
Other survivors include his mother, Geneva Alcorn Crady; and two sons, Zachariah and Christopher Crady.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, May 16th at the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 3308 in Tallahassee. Lifesong Funeral & Cremation Services (www.lifesongfunerals.com or 850.627.1111) is assisting the family with arrangements.
