Rebecca Rowland's Obituary
Rebecca Rowland, our beloved Matriarch, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend is now safe in the arms of Jesus, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion. Rebecca was predeceased by her parents, Betty Ann and James Crenshaw, her husband, Henry Harold Rowland, and her brother, Stephen Kelly Crenshaw.
Rebecca is survived by her loving family: her brothers Randall Crenshaw (Evelyn), Jim Crenshaw, and Chris Crenshaw; her son Eric Wilbanks (Phyllis); her daughter Tracy Rose (Camala); and her cherished grandchildren, Calah Rose (Justin), Meghan Platt (Stephan), Christina Knowles (Ryan), Nicholas Wilbanks (Lexa), Eliza Wilbanks, Reagan Wilbanks (Eden), and Daci Wilbanks. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren: Lukas Gary, Zoey Gary, Lottie Wilbanks, Neal Wilbanks, Beatrix Wilbanks, Tucker Jones, Kenslie Platt, and a soon-to-arrive baby boy Platt, due in June. Rebecca’s love and kindness extended to countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will forever treasure her memory.
She loved southern gospel music, and her family (whom she referred to as “all her babies”) deeply and unconditionally, and above all else, she loved the Lord. Rebecca lived her life guided by her unwavering faith in God and her deep love for her family. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her warmth, compassion, and steadfast devotion. A woman of profound faith and strength, Rebecca embodied grace and kindness, inspiring all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Her one wish for her family to carry on was a simple one - love each other like I loved you.
Her legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
