Rebecca Christine Mattox's Obituary
Rebecca Christine Mattox, 37, of Wakulla County, Florida was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022. She is survived by her 3 beautiful children, Kayla (Austin) Thomas of Tallahassee, Fl, and Adriaunna and Miles Simmons of Freeport, Fl; her parents, Jane Temples of Wakulla County, FL and Richard Mattox of Newbern, NC; her siblings, Ashley Mattox of Huntington Beach, CA, Samantha Mattox of Statesville, NC, James Hollis and Austin Temples of Wakulla County, FL along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rebecca or also widely known as Becca or Becky, was loved by many. She comes from a large family and created lifelong friends through school. She was blessed with 3 beautiful children early in life who were her pride and joy. She loved her babies so much!
People who really knew Rebecca know her as a kind, smart and loving woman. The last few months of her life were some of her proudest moments. She had a new outlook on life and was always smiling and laughing. She loved her pets (especially Lil Man), gardening and her chickens. Her passing has dramatically affected her loved ones. We will miss her every day for the rest of our lives. The pain of her death is heartbreaking for all of us.
A private viewing will be held for her family and a celebration of life service will be scheduled in the next few days for her friends and family to pay their respects.
