Peter Michael Piper's Obituary
Peter M Piper, affectionately known as Jaja, 83, passed away April 16, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida following a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty A Piper, his two daughters Missy Wiggins and Laura Spraker (Robert); his grandchildren, Heather, Reid, Alicia and Buddy; his two brothers Tom (Ann) and Jerry (Sally). He is also survived by his adopted family, Mary (Andy), Jennifer (Bobby), Heba (Brian) and their children, Clayton and Ansley along with his god-daughter Tonia Silver and her mother Reshaunda Silver.
During his life, he was a “jack of all trades”, from engineering to energy auditing, to temporary services to being a personal chef. After retirement he taught computer classes at the Tallahassee Senior Center until 2020. He also enjoyed cooking, reading and playing Uno with his family.
Jaja was loved and will be missed. The family kindly requests that friends and family consider donating to your local library, the Tallahassee Senior Center or Big Bend Hospice in his memory.
