Pauline Simmons Washington's Obituary
Pauline Simmons Washington, 73, of Quincy, passed away on August 5, 2021 at the Hospice House in Tallahassee.
Pauline was born in Quincy and lived in Quincy her entire life. She married Adolphus Paul on August 6, 1966 and into this union 5 children were born. She was a member of the Greater Tanner Chapel AME where she served in the choir, usher board and secretary for many years. She was also the former owner of New Image Janitorial Services.
Survivors include her children, Terrance Paul (Lorine); Kimberly Paul James (Linwood); Andre Paul (Diane); Dexter Paul; and Adrienne Paul-Smith (Edward); two sisters, Catherine Roberts (Sam) and Emma Jones (Leroy); 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two special friends, Joyce and Wilmon Knight; a host of family and friends; and her beloved cat, Ebony.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt Simmons, Sr & Charity Simmons; and one brother, Roosevelt Simmons, Jr.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Deliverance Temple First Born, 5715 Hardaway Hwy., Chattahoochee, FL.
