I don’t know much about Dr. Osborne personally, but I can say he has had quite an impact on me as a professor since I’ve been at FSU.
Dr. Osborne's class focused on moral deviance and moral panic theory.
Our papers in his class were to be focused on this topic, and I became intensely interested.
And recently, as I was writing an essay on Grand Theft Auto for another English class, I discovered surprisingly that my main source I have been using was written by Dr. Osborne and published while at Florida State University.
Thank you Professor Osborne for continuing to inspire my work and for helping me on my essays though publications of your own. I wish we could have continued to talk.
