Pamela T. Lutton's Obituary
Pamela Teixeira Lutton, 72, passed away on Feb. 8, of a heart attack. She was taken suddenly and many feel a great loss.
Pam was a 1976 graduate of Florida State University School of Law. She began her 35 year career with the Florida Attorney General’s Office straight out of law school, and retired in 2012 as Chief of the Tort Litigation Bureau.
Pam had many interests, including tennis, her dogs and cats, hiking, travel (in recent years trips to Great Britain and New Zealand), snow skiing, and bicycling on her ebike. She was active in Citizen’s Climate Lobby, League of Women Voters, Moms Demand Action, Capital City Cyclists, Sustainable Tallahassee and ReThink Energy Florida.
Pam made many friends from numerous circles.
She leaves behind her loving husband Dennis Scott, her siblings and nieces and nephews; Jay Teixeira of Quincy, Dana and Pamela (Patterson) Lutton of Havana, their children Dana Alan and Scotty, Gale Maloon of Pasco County and her daughter Robyn, and Diane Curran of Knoxville, TN and her daughter Zoe. Pam was close to her former stepdaughter Amy Allmon (Scott) of Colorado, and their boys Wyatt and Everett.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date. She is already missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the League of Women Voters of Florida or Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
