Mildred C. Wimberly of Monticello, Florida, passed into her heavenly home on October 26, 2021 in Tallahassee, Florida. A native of Danville, Georgia, she had resided in Monticello since 1946. She was the daughter of David Cain Co Read Obituary
Our relationship with the Wimberly family dates back to the 1940's when my parents lived next door in Monticello. They always stayed in touch and I have fond memories of visiting them in my childhood up to my teen years. Mildred was truly a kind and caring person. She and Sut raised two wonderful children and she had a great life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
We met this sweet family while living in Monticello when dad was on the Highway Patrol. She was a fine lady. The Stallworth’s send there condolences. Mike,Terry and Randy.

I have many fun memories of working with Mildred at Farm Credit. She was "the bookkeeper". Robert loved to tease Mildred about being there so long (since she had in the most years) that when she worked in the old office downtown (where the new coffee shop is) the Walkers drove their cattle thru town and the streets were dirt😁. We always had fun times together and I have life-long friends from those days. Prayers for Sut, Elaine & David. We miss you Mildred but we know where you now reside.
Never let you leave the table hungry and made the best pound cake in the south .
Mildred is now a beautiful angel with our Lord. I loved her very much and everyone will miss her especially Sut. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
