My heartfelt condolences to all those who loved Mildred with special love to her beautiful daughter who lovingly cared for her till her last days on earth. I wish you peace in this time of bereavement. Though I did not know Mildred, I know the beautiful and compassionate woman that she raised. I'm certain her soul is refreshed and on a new journey and the love and lessons she shared in this life will not be forgotten. Much love to all her family and friends.
I've been friends with Mildred Stephenfield since 1972. She was my teacher in a college course I took as a sophomore. We've been friends ever since. She has visited me in various locales across the USA and joined me and my sisters on a number of vacations over the years. We attended numerous workshops together and worked together at a school for pregnant teenagers. She was my friend and mentor and I feel the planet is a bit more empty now that she's taken off for new adventures.
