Michele Elizabeth Reams' Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michele Elizabeth Reams of Tallahassee, Florida. Michele was born on September 10, 1984, at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta Georgia and passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 40, with her loving family by her side.
Michele was a joyful, giving soul who touched every life she encountered. Known for her bright smile, open heart, and unwavering kindness, she had a way of making people feel seen, safe, and loved. She had a deep passion for art and self-expression — often turning to drawing, poetry, and singing as creative outlets that brought comfort both to herself and others.
Michele had a special love for roses and a lifelong fascination with wolves, symbols that reflected her gentle yet fiercely loyal nature. Her mother, Sylvia, was her greatest inspiration and role model — a bond that grounded her through life’s toughest storms. Michele also had a famously playful side, including an intense fear of clowns, which became a humorous part of her story among those closest to her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Reams, and her grandparents, Joyce and Curtis Hutchinson. Michele is survived by her five beloved children: Kristopher Norris, Sylvia Morato, Luis Morato, Cody Reams, and Corey Reams; her devoted parents, Timothy and Sylvia Norris; her sisters, Kristen Floyd (Josh Floyd) and Tiffany Norris; and her treasured nieces and nephews: Eli Floyd, Kaylee Hodges, Kinley Hodges, and Ellie Floyd. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Michele’s memory will live on in every person she inspired with her art, lifted with her voice, or embraced with her unconditional love. She will be remembered forever — a light in this world who gave so much of herself to others.
Her wings were ready, but we were not.
