Megan and I had been friends for a couple of years. She was my friend’s girlfriend and I met her through him but he got into some trouble throughout their relationship and Megan and I continued to have contact and talk here and there about our troubles and whatnot. My ex girl girlfriend, who was my current partner at the time, and Megan also because good friends and we’d all go to the beach and we made great memories as friends. I never had many friends that were girls throughout my life but i’m delighted to say that Megan was one of the few I did and our friendship came with no regrets. She was a kind-hearted woman with demons to conquer just like anyone else, but you wouldn’t know with just a glance. She was a vault of emotions but was always the brightest person in the room and for that she will be missed by many. I give my condolences to her family and assure them that heaven has gained an angel. Despite being atheist, situations like these make me question my belief because souls like Megans are the kind that shouldn’t cease to exist but continue on to the afterlife to continue to make people with their own darkness have days that are brighter, like mine whenever I was blessed to have her in my life.
