Mason E. Sellers 's Obituary
Mason Sellers died May 24th, 2016 at age 22, an old soul who had no quarrels with anyone. Mason is survived by his parents, Steve and Lisa Sellers; his sister, Katherine; brothers, Jackson and Reed; grandparents, Joseph and Betty Joe Sellers; and Uncle Roger Williams; Mark Sellers (Dana); and Aunt Susan Sellers.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roger A. and Elizabeth Smith Williams and his Aunt Rose Williams.
Mason Sellers was born on August 7, 1993, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. His elated parents, Steven and Elizabeth Sellers, were smitten by his bright blue eyes, goofy smile, and insatiable curiosity. He soon became big brother to sister Katherine and brothers Jackson and Reed.
Quiet and laid back, Mason loved reading, a lot, and was intrigued with philosophy, languages, politics, economics, and poetry. He was a genius, but you would have to spend time with him to know it because he was not one to brag on himself. Mason was at ease in the outdoors where he loved backpacking, camping, rafting, and canoeing. After high school he hiked more than 400 miles on the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Tennessee.
You leave behind so many friends, my son, and a loving family who will never recover from your untimely death. We will celebrate Mason’s life on Monday, May 30th, starting at 11:00 am at the Retreat at Bradley Pond on Centerville Road with more details on Facebook. Lifesong Funerals & Cremations (850.627.1111) is assisting the family with arrangements.
