Mary F. Spurgeon's Obituary
Mary F. Spurgeon, age 94 of Quincy, Florida, formerly of the Lynchburg area, passed away peacefully early Monday morning March 3, 2025, at the Riverchase Health and Rehabilitation Center in Quincy. She was born April 22, 1930, in Fairborn, the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Georgie J. (Williamson) Clark. She was a member of the Lynchburg First Church of Christ, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Ellen Ramon of Dayton and Deborah Lynn (William Jr.) Hess of Hillsboro; a son, Kenneth Robert (Deborah) Spurgeon of Quincy, Florida; ten grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Dean Clark of Columbus and Earl Clark of Chillicothe; and a son-in-law, Paul Harmon of Manchester. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband James A. Spurgeon, who passed away October 5, 2008; a daughter, Beverly Jane Harmon, who died August 11, 2011; a son-in-law, Garry L. Ramon, who died September 22, 2024; two sisters, Erma Jean O’Neil and Margaret Jane Duffy; and an infant brother. Funeral services for Mary will be held in Lynchburg, OH under the direction of Turner Funeral Home.
