Mary Cooper Potter's Obituary
Mary Cooper Potter passed away on the evening of Tuesday, July 2 at her home with her family by her side. She was 65 years old.
Mary was born in Tallahassee on January 6, 1959, to the late Archie Cooper, Sr. and Lucille Taff Cooper.
Raised in Crawfordville, she graduated from Wakulla High School. Mary worked for the Dept. of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for 30 years, where she established many wonderful friendships. She was a devoted Christian, always spreading her faith by attending many churches throughout the years.
Her greatest joy came in being a grandmother, and she was her grandkids biggest supporter.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Meadie "Frank" Potter, Jr., her children; Amanda Potter-Rangel (Cris) and Meadie "Frankie" Potter, III (Tonya). She was proceeded in death by her first-born son, Gary Eugene Durrance, Jr., and her siblings Susan and Jimmy.
Other survivors include her brother, Archie "Woody" Cooper, Jr., sisters Carletta Anderson and Helen McCormick, her beloved grandchildren; Emory, Elijah, Mixon, Analiah, Elisa, Rosita, Nanci, Aiden, Giovanni, Emiliano, Tony, Crisanto and Great Grandson Cristian, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Lifesong Funeral Home Chapel, 20 S. Duval St. Quincy, FL 32351, Friday, July 5th, 2024 at 5:00 PM. The funeral service follow at 6:00 PM.
