Mary Louise French's Obituary
Mary Louise French, 70 of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Friday June 10, 2022 at her home, with her loving family by her side. Mary was born June 25, 1951, in Donalsonville, Georgia to Lewis and Louise Tye Ellis. She was a wonderful sister, mother and grandmother. She loved fishing with her grandsons, dancing and spending time with family.
Mary was an excellent roofer, who always laid the perfect roof. She worked around South Georgia and North Florida and became a legend to the roofing industry. In later years she became an electrician and was working in Newark, New Jersey at the time of 9/11.
She wasn’t a fan of wrestling, but she could out wrestle all the young boys in our family. She was a fighter. Mary was a friend to all who met her. She always lent a hand to anyone in need.
She is survived by her sons Eugene L. Parrish and Jeffery L. Parrish; sisters Margie Ellis Odom, Merle Ellis Massey, Judy Ellis Holt and Donna Ellis Tomlison and one brother A. Dale Ellis. 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Louise Ellis, two sons Jessie W. Parrish and Jason D. Parrish and one sister Pamela Ellis Minor.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday June 15, 2022 at 11:00AM, at Boot Hill Cemetery 515 Jacksontown Road Bainbridge, Georgia 39819.
