Mary Lee Donaldson's Obituary
Mary Lee Donaldson, was born April 9, 1948 to the late James D. and Loise W. Donaldson in St. Marks, Florida. She graduated from Shadeville High School in 1966. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New York where she met her ex- husband, John E. Carr (Albany, Ga.). They had three children together. She and her children later relocated to Tallahassee.
Mary worked as a CNA for 30 years in Georgia, Florida and California. She adored her patients. On November 29, 2023, the Lord called her home to glory and gave her peace.
Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Branton; her sisters, Minnie West, Lucille Griggs, Emily Reddick, Jenny Triplett, Marjorie Randolph and Fornia Williams.
Mary leaves behind her two daughters, Beverly and Ollie Carr, her son John Carr; two granddaughters LaQueen James and Tilisha Melton; her sister Josephine Bradley, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Lifesong Funeral Home, 20 S. Duval St., Quincy, FL 32351.
