Tallahassee, FL- Marvin L. Floyd (81) died on January 9th, 2019. A service will be held Thursday January 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL. Marvin was born November 26th, 1937 in Malone, FL to the late W.B. and Mamie Lee Floyd. Marvin was the oldest of four children. Marvin served four years in the United States Air Force. He worked for the State of Florida at the Department of Juvenile Justice and retired as a Bureau Chief. After his retirement he volunteered for Good News Ministries up until his passing. Marvin is survived by his wife Joany Floyd, his two sons Todd Floyd and Dr. Jim A. Kuypers and his daughter Kristine Copeland. He had one grandchild, Kristen Copeland.
