Mark Vernon Ellison's Obituary
Mark Ellison, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away with his family by his side on July 18, 2022 at the age of 69.
He was born June 15, 1953 in Parsons, Kansas. He was the son of the late Robert Ellison and the late H. Lorraine Ellison. He was adored by his three sisters: Cindy D’Ottavio (Nick), Judy Walker (Jeff), and the late Nancy Newberry. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Linda Marovich (Bert).
If you were lucky enough to know Mark, you know that he loved his family more than anything. He served in the United States Air Force where he met his beloved wife of 42 years, Nancy Taylor Ellison. He retired from Radiology Associates of Tallahassee in December 2019 where he spent many years there as a vascular sonographer.
Mark was a devoted father to his two children Justin (Kaylee) and Lindsey, and the most proud Papa of his three granddaughters: Taylor, Ainsley, and Cameron.
It was Mark’s wish to be cremated and not have a service. In lieu of flowers, he would want you to spend time with your family, go fishing, and never be afraid to take advantage of opportunities that come your way.
He will forever be missed and loved.
