Lance Woodburn
I want to thank all of our family and friends who joined us in the celebration of mom's life on Jan 27th and over the years. She was one of the most loving, kind, intelligent, talented, generous, beautiful, faith filled, selfless and forgiving people I've ever known. She always looked for the good in each of us to dwell on. She loved, lived and treated others in a very Christ like manner. I hope the example she set will live on in me and the rest of us going forward in our daily lives. I've always known how truly blessed I am to have you for a mother & example on how to love and live well.
I think we all pulled together in a way that would fill mom's heart with joy as we celebrated her life. Also being here for each other in the manner we are since her passing. We are all so fortunate to have known and shared love & life with her as much as we did. It was great to see the outpouring of so many whose lives she touched in a beautiful and meaningful way. All the tributes, cards, gifts, food, etc. you each have showered us with. Dad thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the ceremony, music, food, friends, colleagues visits and family, as have I. Thank you very much for being so loving, compassionate & considerate of us during this time. I hope to see all of you again when we can have more one on one time than was possible with so many all at once. We have many great memories with each of you to help tide us over in the meanwhile. Thoughts & prayers are with each of you until we meet again. Have a great 2019.
Sincerely, Lance Woodburn
