Malcolm Louis McFarlain's Obituary
Malcolm Louis McFarlain, 69, of Tallahassee, passed away on March 12, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Denise Stinson.
Malcolm grew up in Lake Charles, LA and settled in Tallahassee in the early 1980's. He was a member of Capital Heights Baptist Church where he served as an usher and enjoyed working of various church projects. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.
Other survivors include one son, Malcolm L. McFarlain, Jr. (Kim) of Crawfordville; six step-children; one sister, Belva McFarlain; his mother-in-law, Gladys Stinson; four special grandchildren, Austin William Lee McFarlain (22) and Jack Grayson Bower (5); Jackson Edward Ruggless and Grace Lorraine Ruggless; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents, William Lee and Irvie Lavergne McFarlain; and two brothers, William Lee McFarlain, Jr. and Nelson McFarlain.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Capital Heights Baptist Church. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
