Louise Parramore Jones' Obituary
Louise Parramore Jones, 85, of Quincy, FL, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Louise was born May 19, 1938, in Quincy, FL. She was the youngest daughter of Farris and Bernice Parramore. She graduated from Quincy High School, and went on to receive her BA from Florida State University, and her MA from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She retired from teaching after 30 years in the Gadsden County School District and 5 years in the Decatur County Georgia School District. Louise was an active member of Corinth Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, working in her flowers, and cooking (especially cakes).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Melvin Jones, and her parents, Farris and Bernice Parramore. She is survived by her two daughters, Melanie Jones King, and husband, James, of Quincy; Melinda Jones Wiggins and husband, Garrett, of Summersville, MO; one granddaughter, Ashley King, of Rigby, ID; two grandsons, Cutter and Cody Wiggins, of Steamboat Springs, CO; sister Peggy Parramore Mason, of Quincy; niece, Ada Mason Wiisanen and husband, Billy, of Vienna, Austria; great niece, Lydia Wiisanen, of Jacksonville; and a great nephew, Mitchell Wiisanen and wife, Brooke, of Jacksonville, along with numerous cousins and many compassionate friends.
The visitation will be from 1-2 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 with the service to follow at 2 PM at
Corinth Baptist Church

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church (Women of Living Faith group), Thomas Memorial Baptist (Senior Adults or Homebound Ministry), Antioch Baptist Church (WMU). or the charity of your choice.
