Lorena Sentelik Laverty's Obituary
Lorena Sentelik Laverty, of Tallahassee passed away July 4, 2024, at the age of 39. Left in life to carry her memory are her mother, Maria Sentelik , her husband of 14 years, Jeffrey Fletcher Laverty, her mother and father-in-law, Dotty and Tom Laverty, her children, Simon, Jax, Lily and Donavan Jorge, her brother Zane Kuntz, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lorena was born October 15, 1984, in Patate, Ecuador. Her mother adopted Lorena in 1989 and they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. Lorena spent her early years in Cincinnati , Ohio where she graduated from Maderia High School. She attended college at the National Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, New York and received an associate degree in Business.
Lorena moved to Tallahassee, Florida with her husband Jeffrey in 2009. Lorena was creative. She painted, drew, and made beautiful jewelry. She was good at anything she tried. She had a wonderful smile and loved her children dearly. Lorena was loved by many. We will miss you Lorena.
